A much-loved husband, father, and grandfather, Mr. Theriault was a foreign law specialist for the U.S. Government, working primarily in national security operations. His exposure to the intelligence arena began during WWII when he worked for tips as an underage errand boy at an overseas OSS installation. On completion of the Army ROTC program he was commissioned a regular officer of the U.S. Marine Corps and served with the Fleet Marine Force. He was a Korean War Veteran.
Mr. Theriault subsequently joined the U.S. Federal Government and served in Latin America and the Far East. He had keen interest in technical aspects of information collection and management, was an inventor, a registered safesmith and locksmith, and a licensed amateur radio operator. He was awarded two Medals of Honor by a foreign government in recognition of his overseas service, and received a Career Intelligence Medal. Following retirement from Federal service, he established a national security consultancy and for two decades provided support to multidisciplinary operations and international initiatives of the Intelligence Community.
He was a member of the Society of the Cincinnati in the State of Georgia.
Mr. Theriault is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margaret, three daughters and their husbands, and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Raoul Napoleon (“Terry”) Theriault of Denver, CO.

My condolences to the Theriault family. Always remember God can give you the endurance and the comfort you need to get you through hard times like these. He lovingly provided his word, the Bible, so that we might have hope (Romans 15:4,5). Romans 12:12 reminds us to "Rejoice in the hope. Endure under tribulation. Persevere in prayer".
